Woman gets confronted and is asked nicely to stop at stop signs in school zones where kids cross the road via the crosswalk.

Woman proceeds to block crosswalk in front of school to drop off kids.

Woman is confronted again.

Woman and her young female passenger laugh it off.

Woman proceeds to follow me and have said passenger take video of my car.

Woman probably does not realize I am also taking video of her.

Woman will hopefully see her stop sign run on YouTube.

Why not instead take the Video to the cops and show them? You have her license plate and maybe a nice fat ticket will knock some sense into her.

So you chose to blast her rather than pull this to the police? Kind of a little pointless, but who am I to judge?

I just might. Just to see if they’ll do anything. I doubt they will.

We were in the same place at the same time and her windows were open. I asked her nicely to please stop in case kids were crossing next time. If she isn’t adult enough to handle it then that’s on her.

There was a guy who ran a stop sign in our school zone. I confronted him, and he said he was pretty sure he stopped. No, you didn’t. Later, I talked with one of the sheriff’s deputies who regularly patrols our school zone. He said that he could write a citation based on my report, but it might not be worth it. Bottom line, if you have evidence, and you think this person is a safety hazard, report it to the police. They might be able to issue a citation. The deputies in my county use the license number to find an address and go knock on the door. Sometimes just to issue a warning, other times to actually write a ticket.

How will she see it on YouTube if we can’t even see it on YouTube? Where’s that video? :)

Call. The. Cops. I don’t care if it’s not worth it, I’d rather her get hit with a reforming ticket than be a constant nuisance.

Tell the cops and they’ll put a patrol car there to monitor the area and see if they catch Stop sign runners. You can also lie and say you’ve seen her almost hit a kid before they might take it more seriously then.

A kid did have to cross the front of her car while she blocked the crosswalk... hmmm.... and I do see a lot of cars rolling that sign in the morning.

HMMMMMM.....

To be honest, I’m not a fan of the concept of an officer writing a citation purely on the basis of a report from someone else, unless it’s an accident. Seems like a dangerous precedent.

yeah, what Kirito said. If you want the behavior to stop, you’re going to have to actually do something. Posting a video on YouTube is basically one step above doing nothing at all.

I wish more people would actually do something about the things they see, rather than just bitching about them. But “doing something” takes effort, which is apparently too much to ask.

they won’t do anything this time, but like said above they might have an officer sit nearby and monitor things for a while.

Yeah I’d call the other police number that you call to report non-emergency stuff like this. Let the police handle crazy people.
